Our Story

Livestay was born in early 2019, founded by two entrepreneurial minds with diverse expertise in property-related industries. It emerged during the rapid rise of the Airbnb model and was inspired by the need to address a critical gap: delivering exceptional hospitality. This focus on unparalleled service is essential for fostering repeat bookings and ensuring a steady, uninterrupted income stream for our clients.

Through trial and error, we’ve navigated challenges, including recruiting—and later parting ways with—various cleaning teams, software providers, linen services, and general runner solutions. After years of meticulous testing and refinement, we’ve assembled a dedicated team of professionals and a trusted panel of contractors. This cohesive network operates with a level of efficiency and professionalism that we are proud to deliver to our clients every day.

Arunas Malinauskas

Director

Having worked for several years in the hospitality industry managing hotel operations and countless lettings since 2014, Arunas draws from a large pool of knowledge having also worked in busy London Estate agencies and being directly involved with start-ups for many years.

His hospitality background aided in helping gain valuable experience with guests, crucial experience in operations management and implementing the vital tech and IT systems needed that ensure smooth function and performance of the business. He is a keen traveller with a big bucket list!

Ajay Sharma

Director

Ajay brings years of experience from the fast-paced Central London property market, excelling in negotiation, transaction management, team leadership, and achieving targets.

Known for his passion and integrity, he leverages his expertise in sales and networking to build a loyal client base while maintaining a streamlined operation and cohesive team. Outside work, he enjoys quality time with his daughter and early morning swims at his local pool.

Operations manager

Rivka plays a crucial role in the Livestay team, driving continuous improvement and developing efficient operational roadmaps.

She collaborates closely with every department to meet KPI targets and consistently enhance the quality of service provided to both landlords and guests. Rivka excels in achieving goals, implementing structured workflows, and creating systems that boost overall efficiency.

Maria Nikolaeva

Senior property manager

Maria has been an integral part of Livestay since its inception, serving as the backbone of the company. She oversees back-office operations, manages administrative teams, and ensures all property listings are accurate, live, and fully optimized.

Her efforts not only provide guests with transparent, memorable experiences—enhanced by comprehensive manuals to maximize their travel enjoyment—but also secure uninterrupted income streams for property owners. Leading the listings team, Maria handles countless critical tasks that contribute to Livestay’s success and daily operations. Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring the great outdoors.

Property listings coordinator

Diliyana is a dedicated and hardworking member of our listings team, playing a key role in ensuring all our property listings are fully optimized. She focuses on incorporating 360° images, floor plans, 3D views, accurate descriptions, and area guides while coordinating with various departments to maintain accuracy and deliver the best possible experience for our guests.

Additionally, Diliyana reviews pricing systems, handles administrative tasks, and continuously works to enhance the quality and efficiency of our listings.

Paul

Property marketing specialist

Paul is a dedicated and versatile team member, always ready to adapt to the tasks Livestay requires. His daily responsibilities include reviewing listings, addressing and resolving negative feedback promptly to maintain high standards of service, and ensuring all issues are rectified on the same day.

Beyond this, Paul works diligently to optimize our listings across multiple platforms, increasing Livestay’s visibility and attracting travelers seeking their next UK destination. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, Paul plays a crucial role in enhancing both guest satisfaction and brand exposure.

Setup Operations Manager

Nida brings valuable experience from her background in design and her work with multiple fashion brands and stockrooms, making her an expert in onboarding and ensuring every detail is covered for our guests—from wine openers to hairdryers.

Her keen eye for design enhances the appeal of our properties, resulting in better bookings and more enjoyable guest experiences. Nida also plays a pivotal role in coordinating maintenance teams, storage contractors, transport personnel, and property owners to ensure Livestay’s standards are met, delivering a seamless and high-quality experience for all.

Abdiaziz

Property Maintenance Driver

Abdiaziz brings extensive experience in all aspects of property maintenance, making him an invaluable asset to the Livestay team. As a skilled van driver, he efficiently handles the pick-up and delivery of furniture, ensuring our properties are fully equipped to meet guest needs.

Beyond transportation, Abdiaziz assists Nida in furnishing properties, handling tasks such as furniture assembly, Ring camera installations, and general repairs. His proactive approach and attention to detail ensure that Livestay’s high standards are consistently upheld, creating a comfortable and secure environment for guests.

Rafia’s bubbly and welcoming personality means that she connects well with a multitude of incoming guest from all parts of the Globe.

She is an ace in instilling confidence to every traveller answering questions and queries fast, ensuring that each guest is fully informed on check in procedures, settling any worries in advance of arrival, guiding people in, offering tips and money savers with transport and just generally being a nice helpful person to rely on for any needed assistance. Rafia’s passion is cooking and baking, her homemade chocolate, hazelnut, and marshmallow cookies are quite literally, to die for.
